Rationale:
An essential part of land management is ensuring that natural resources remain protected while still being accessible for responsible use. Military veterans and essential workers understand the importance of maintaining the land, not just for recreation, but for sustainability. They aren’t satisfied with watching the land deteriorate due to erosion, uncontrolled water flow, and improper grading—they take action.
At KPN, we empower veterans and first responders to apply their skills in erosion control, terracing, and flood mitigation using professional-grade equipment. The work is mission-driven and provides purpose, skill-building, and real impact on the land they serve.
When you work with Dozer Dogz, you’re not just improving your property—you’re supporting a program that provides veterans and first responders with hands-on land stewardship training, equipping them with skills that offer both personal fulfillment and professional opportunities.
Who Qualifies?
Priority is given to:
Combat veterans, first responders, and their families
Sponsors and landowners who wish to support the mission while improving their land
Essential workers and their support networks
What is the Process?
Although the veterans and essential workers providing these services are not employees, the program is sustained through individual and corporate donations. Every dollar spent on Dozer Dogz services qualifies as a tax-deductible contribution to the Knowledge Point Network, ensuring continued training, equipment maintenance, and the expansion of stewardship initiatives.
The combined annual budget to maintain and operate the equipment, including fuel, repairs, and transport, is estimated at $75,000 per year. Mini-fundraisers accumulate a daily operating rate of $4,500 to cover incremental costs associated with field operations, safety gear, and insurance.
To stay ahead of budgetary needs, ownership grants are awarded quarterly or based on demand. If you are interested in helping defray operational costs, please submit an inquiry through KPN to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
