Multi-Use Motorized
Sustained access to our forest areas via motorized vehicles must be maintained for those who wish to serve those who worked and fought to preserve our freedoms. Participants in this volunteer program will experience Fellowship, Liberty, and Stewardship of the (MTM) by working to maintain the Motorized Trails. You are a Trail Maintainer.
Through two separate “day events,” we measure your progress of safe operation.
In the training, you will gain knowledge of what is meant by “to fix up what we tear up.”
You will learn about erosion. It has a chronic negative effect on our forest areas. You will learn ways to ameliorate its impact.
You will gain an understanding of the concepts of Team, Grace, Giving, and Gifts. None of us are as strong as all of us. You will have fun, gain camaraderie with so many people, and sometimes feel complete fulfillment of endeavoring for something you thought was just a bit out of your reach.
