SUMMARY:Reklaw fly-in 2024
DESCRIPTION:RekLaw Continues \n  \nAviator Perspective \n  \nReklaw Promo \n  \nHonoring the Legacy of David W. Mason at Reklaw Fly-In: Investing in the Future \nFor 39 years\, retired Delta Pilot David W. Mason stood at the helm of the Reklaw Fly-In\, sharing his passion for aviation and enriching the lives of all who attended with his colorful stories and camaraderie. Tragically\, David “flew west” on January 26\, 2024\, and his ashes are now forever part of the grass strip he loved so dearly. Though David is no longer with us\, the weekend Reklaw Fly-In and Campout continues—because that’s what he wanted. \nMarcia has stepped up to carry on David’s legacy with a clear vision for the future. Along with her dedicated team of volunteers\, she’s not just preparing for another successful event this year—they’re working to secure the long-term future of the Fly-In. From clearing brush and painting to mowing\, repairing equipment\, coordinating facilities\, managing vendors\, and overall raising the bar in all aspects\, Marcia and her team are carefully reviewing details. “We aim to ensure that the wholesome\, welcoming feel of the Fly-In is not only retained but preserved for years to come.” But it’s no longer about getting through one year at a time. It’s time for the community to step up and support this vision\, ensuring that Reklaw remains a lasting tradition. \nCurious how we’re raising the bar? Read on to discover the exciting new initiative to elevate Reklaw Fly-In and guarantee its future! \nHow KPN Has Stepped Up: Operation Reklaw Continues\nAs a charity with a mission to provide purpose and support for Disabled and PTSD-suffering veterans\, as well as the sentinels of our society—Combat Veterans\, Active Duty Law Enforcement\, and Firefighters—KPN is uniquely positioned to step in and offer the right kind of support to Reklaw. We bring just enough assistance to make the event safer and more organized without changing its essence. We asked Marcia what was keeping her up at night\, and without hesitation\, she said\, “Getting a new Unicom radio stand.” \nThat was the moment the Operation Reklaw Continues initiative was born. Founder Ed Ponikvar summed it up with the perfect thought: “Need a Unicom radio stand? Hold my beer. We got this!” KPN immediately took action\, applying the same mission-oriented leadership we use to help veterans regain purpose and strength. By focusing on practical solutions and ensuring mission success\, we are facilitating the construction of the new Radio Stand—the critical infrastructure that will provide certainty and safety for the Fly-In this year and for years to come. \nHow You Can Ensure Success This Year and Beyond:\nWe are committed to making this year’s Fly-In successful\, but it’s up to everyone in the community to help ensure its future. Reklaw Fly-In is raising the bar with the construction of a new Radio Stand\, the backbone of the event’s operational success. This radio stand is not just a symbol of safety and coordination—it is an investment in continuity. It guarantees that the event will remain organized\, safe\, and secure for everyone involved this year and for future generations. \nThis critical improvement comes with substantial costs. Marcia has shouldered significant financial responsibility\, but we need your help. While you can still arrive and pay on the day of the event\, we are asking for your support through KPNUSA.com a tax-deductible donation that will directly contribute to the cost of the new radio stand. By making this contribution\, we sustain David’s dream and legacy to continue inspiring future generations.  \nIn other words\, everything stays the same for those who have always arrived\, registered guests\, and pets with Marcia getting a wristband. KPN is the tax-deductible way you can build ongoing sustainably in giving more for improvements that happen at Flying M Ranch\, like the 2024 Radio Stand. 100% of the donations from this event page arrive to an account to be applied to Flying M Ranch. SUMMARY:Ride YOUR motorcycle on a KART track 2024
DESCRIPTION:You read that correctly. Donate a fee\, pre-register\, and you will be approved to ride your motorcycle (< 500cc) on Speedsportz Racing Park’s Kart track. Click Here to see the present update video.  \nWhy? \n\nThe key for this to producing your maximum benefit revolves around DONATING IN ADVANCE.\n\nTo attend as a spectator = $5.00\nDonate to Ride the bike YOU BRING<500CC = Starts at $45.00\, increasing as the Event date nears: Q. Why do we do this? A. If you wait till the last minute\, it burdens the volunteers preparing meals and other niceties to make the experience as professional as possible.\nDonate TO USE OTHER BIKES AT 15-MINUTE increments: Why? We goal to introduce those that don’t understand the motorcycle a chance to try. Rent your time or give others a chance but know we will extend a machine for those that pre-order per lap.\n100% is applied to Operation Veteran 365. An initiative to ensure all have somewhere to ride 365 days a year.\n\n\nShow up\, check-in\, and ride! Have lots of bikes? Great list of what you’re bringing below\nYou know others that may enjoy the Karts? Great\, They operated on a separate track.\nAll Speedsportz fees and registration apply to Kart use separately from bikes.\n\nWhen – April 8\, 2023 \nTime – 7:55am-11:40am \nLocation – 23050 Speed St\, New Caney\, TX 77357  \nFlow: Two options \n8:00 a.m. A. Rent the karts OR B. Run the bike you bring \nAlternate B. Rotate between karts and YOUR bike or stick with one. It’s your choice\, but if you’re going to use the karts you pay additional for each person \nWhy Shut off the mind moving at the pace to that gets IT out of your system. \n\nWhat is it? That cabin fever that happens when cooped up too much.   \nHug old friends and bench race with new ones. Be on the lookout for VIPs \nSupport a worthwhile endeavor that sustains the unique way we take a bite out of life\n\nWhen you pre-pay and register\, you understand the media will capture photos\, videos\, and interviews. \n11:40 p.m. Lunch together as a whole group. Learn how to get advance notice for 2023 events  \nSpeedSportz is closed to the public this Saturday morning. We are being trusted to have safe drama free fun. We somehow convinced the owners we were responsible and mission-driven. A wide range of extreme sports recreation exists. We happen to mend the mind with movement. The purpose-built karts and motorcycles will raise the reward but all motorcycles are welcome. 500 cc or less on the track. This experience is only for those who pre-register through our 501c3.  \nKart safety video: \nOn the fence?  \n\nMore off-road riders enjoy this venue than you think.  \nYou rotate every 15 minutes. \nYouth are treated with the utmost kindness and encouragement\n\nExtended to the Attendee:   \nAmazing venue: Speedsportz Racing Park lifts your spirit by just being there. \nGreat people: For some\, it’s camaraderie. For others it’s fellowship. Discover a spirit that heals. \nRelax and release: Get it out of your system: Ride or show up and relax \nPlan future Stewardship: Opportunities to give back to the community by doing ordinary things exceptionally well. \nPurpose: Be part of a culture that makes things fun while getting things done that benefit us all.  \n  \nAll proceeds benefit Operation Veteran 365. Access 365 days a year was voted “most needed” by our Veteran community. We will be challenged as a community to rise to this vision but we are close. We only missed achieving 365 days of motorized access in Natural Forests by 51 days in 2022.  We aim to increase support of the military veterans priority related to natural healing found through travel in the tall timber. They swore an oath to protect the motherland. Not during just good weather\, they sacrificed to ensure liberty 24/7. We are wise to focus on ensuring some sections are as water-tolerant as possible in phase one. When society remains united\, strong\, and determined\, we inspire those that stepped up and those who continue to show our love of liberty and of each other.  \nScreenshot-2023-01-23-150237.jpg
